We’ve all heard the term “Street Agent” and know what that is. We know that college sports is a big big business and some programs and agents are controlling the players with benefits that the NCAA deems illegal. The lines are blurry in some areas and crystal clear in others.
Josh Luchs began his career as an agent when he was 19 years old. In 1989, for $350 dollars, anyone could become recognized by the NFL as an agent. Luchs was one of the guys who got the big athletes and would do anything to get them.
In 2010, Sports Illustrated featured Josh Luchs in a cover story. Luchs is back now with his book, ILLEGAL PROCEDURE: A Sports Agent Comes clean on the Dirty Business of College Football. Brian and Josh sit down for an in-depth interview.
