Washington Weighs in on NFL's Wild Weekend

Marvin Washington spent 10 years in the NFL playing for the Jets, the 49ers and in 1998 he won a Super Bowl with the Denver Broncos. He joined Chad on Flight 750 Monday to talk about the Denver Broncos’ monumental collapse and the Seahawks’ heart breaking finish in the playoffs over the weekend.
Washington implies that he disagrees with John Fox’s decision to take a knee and let the clock run out to force overtime.
“I felt with Peyton Manning…I thought he did enough to win. If you had Tim Tebow last year I would have that. But if you have Peyton Manning, have to give him an opportunity to win the game.
Washington also insists implies that Saturday’s game really was won and lost one, single play.
“I don’t want to hate a particular player or dislike a guy, but Rahim Moore – I think he’s going to live in infamy with Broncos fans because that’s just unacceptable. That was unacceptable.”
Washington also commented on the great play of young Seattle Seahawk QB Russell Wilson.
“I’m very impressed and very respectful of the job that Pete has done up there. But Russell Wilson, he didn’t get talked about with Andrew Luck and RGIII, but he the Rookie of the Year. There’s no doubt about it.”
