Sam Amick of Sports Illustrated joins Brian Berger to discuss what this shortened NBA season will look like.
Many teams will be scrambling to get ready for the December 25th tip off; The Blazers don't have a GM, the Hornets among other teams have only five players on their rosters and numerous players will be without a team when training camps open. Listen to Brian Berger's interview with Sam Amick only on 750 AM the Game.
Also, Darryl Howerton, who has written for Hoops magazine and NBA Inside Stuff, joins the Dave Smith Show to break down the specifics of the resolution to the NBA lockout. Darryl explains how the new amnesty clause will be applied to over-valued contracts and surprisingly it looks as if this may help Brandon Roy remain a Blazer for at least one more season. Howerton also notes that while this was a win for the owners, they did give some consolation victories to the players to get this deal done. Training camps will start in less than two weeks time; stay tuned to the Dave Smith Show every day between 12 and 3 PM for all your NBA news, only on 750 AM the Game.
