Steve "Snapper" Jones: Portland Legend

A Portland broadcasting legend was honored last night at the Rose Garden.  Steve “Snapper” Jones was a broadcaster for the Portland Trail Blazers for 26 seasons.  “Snapper” also called games for NBC, ABC, ESPN, and was the voice of Dream Team 1.
Jones was honored in a pregame ceremony at center court with Blazers team president Larry Miller and Harry Glickman.  

Steve Jones joined Mike Barrett and Mike Rice during the second quarter of the game to call the action and recall the days of old.
