Rodney Harrison is Made for TV

The National Football League is arguably the most successful and popular sport in the United States. NBC's Football Night in America helps deliver the product successfully with the help of Super Bowl Champ and former Pro-Bowl safety Rodney Harrison. Harrison joined BFT producer Chop to give his take on the season.

People are still wanting to get perspective on the tragedy that happened this past weekend in Kansas City. Rodney Harrison gave his thoughts on the situation.

"Players we're programmed to wanna play football you know and we're programmed to overcome adversity and to relieve the fans and people mourning for three or four hours that's something we love to do we just want to bring smiles to people's faces and they handled it. It was classy it was well done and it was sincere."

Andrew Luck and Robert Griffin III are leading a rookie class of quarterbacks in the 2012-2013 season that is having a large amount of success. Harrison commented on the rookie class.

"It's pretty remarkable just to see each one of these young men after a game win, lose or draw to see what they talk about and to see how they give credit to their teammates and see the humility and see the poise and see the toughness and the leadership that they have and it's no wonder why these teams are starting to have success because they believe in their quarterback. You have to have a quarterback that's a leader that knows how to lead that demands that respect in order to have success."

Rodney Harrison also talks about the transition from player to television sports analyst.
