Rockhold: I wanna get punched in the face

Luke Rockhold Strikeforce Fighter and the Founder & CEO of Strikeforce, Scott Coker joined John Canzano on the Bald Faced Truth to talk Strikeforce and Rockhold’s upcoming fight in Portland. Coker recalls some of the original events that occurred before Strikeforce was founded in 2006, including when martial arts was illegal.
They also talk Francis Farley and some of the older boxers transitioning from boxing to mixed martial arts. Rockhold then talks about how he got into wrestling and martial arts to protect himself from his brothers and how he has to avoid being soft because he is the Strikeforce Middleweight Champion. He also talks how taking off too much time can be a good and bad thing, but staying hungry is the most important part.
Coker then talks about Strikeforces' independence from other fighting leagues and how some of the fighters from other leagues come to fight his players, which shows Strikeforces diversity. He mentions some of the fighters that some of his fighters have faced and the success of the company and being on Showtime. Canzano asks Rockhold about his fight against Tim Kennedy and his approach and Rockhold gets into how he likes to fight Rockhold ends the show with giving out 2 pairs of tickets to his July 14th fight at the Rose Garden in.
