Reynolds wants redemption against Cal

Oregon State CB Rashaad Reynolds joins the Bald Faced Truth with guest host Fletcher Johnson to talk about last weekend’s loss against the Stanford Cardinal. After a narrow 27-23 defeat at Stanford Stadium, Oregon State is looking to bounce back this Saturday against Cal. Despite suffering a second loss, the Beavers’ outlook is still positive, especially considering how well the defense had performed. Even though the Civil War against the undefeated Ducks is in two weeks, there is no chance that Oregon State will be caught looking ahead to the Civil War in two weeks according to Reynolds.

Fletcher and Rashaad start by talking about the Beavers close loss against Stanford and what the Beavers are taking away from the game. Rashaad explains that the Beavers did not dwell on the defeat in Palo Alto and immediately started looking ahead to the next game against the Cal Golden Bears. Yet Rashaad and the defense were proud of their performance on Saturday, forcing four turnovers. Rashaad explains why forcing turnovers is equal parts preparation and lucky positioning. He then breaks down the Cal offense and how he expects the game to unfold.
