Nolan Smith, Portland Trailblazers guard, joined John Canzano on the "Bald-Faced Truth" radio show on Thursday on 750-AM. John and Nolan talked about his summer workout schedule.
John and Nolan also talked about the difference between college basketball and the NBA. John and Nolan also talked about the blazers team last year and how they can improve on it. Nolan says last season was his “welcome to the NBA”. John and Nolan talked about his summer camps he does for kids in Lake Oswego and how it will help kids develop their game. Nolan took a few calls and answered them judiciously. He shared his experiences at Duke University and how it humbled him. Nolan also shared a story about Knicks point guard Chris Duhon a fellow Duke Alumni. Nolan went into great detail about Blazes intern coach Kaleb Canales and the connection he has with him. He says the coach is relentless and that Canales has earned the right to be the Blazers head coach next season.
