Ever wonder who directors turn to when they want to depict a realistic sports scene on film? From The Waterboy to Jerry Maguire, Mark Ellis is the man that makes hard-hitting action come to life on the silver screen. Sports sequence coordinator Mark Ellis joins the Bald Faced Truth with John Canzano to talk about working on sports movies. In his decades in Hollywood, Mark has worked with everyone from Adam Sandler to Cuba Gooding Jr.

Mark describes what goes into creating an athletic scene that look realistic on film. He talks about how he likes working with famous movie stars. He explains the challenges of making unathletic actors look like a world-class athlete. Mark then discusses the problems with old sports movies and why they look so hokey.  He also talks about his latest project, trying to replicate the quickness and intensity of lacrosse in a movie.
