Madsen gives insight to who Brian Shaw is

With many names being thrown out as potential head coaches for the Portland Trail Blazers, one name that keeps being mentioned is former Los Angeles Lakers guard Brian Shaw. Mark Madsen a former teammate of Shaw's came joined the Bald Faced Truth with John Canzano Tuesday to give Blazer fans a little insight on the type of guy and coach Shaw would be.

Madsen explains how many Lakers including Kobe, lobbied for Shaw to come in and replace Phil Jackson as head coach after Jackson retired. Brian Shaw seems to have an ability to really connect with players around him, and Madsen thinks that this could help young players grow faster. Whoever the coach is next year for the Blazers next year, it seems eminent that Brian Shaw is a very relative possibility.
