Mack still a Brown

Former Cleveland Browns running back and two-time Pro-Bowler Kevin Mack joined The Bald Faced Truth guest host Bernard Bokenyi Friday to talk about his career on the gridiron.

While a member of the Browns, Mack played in the AFC Championship three times. Though being sent home by the Broncos in each case, Mack promised all animosity for Denver is gone now.

"That's a tough pill to swallow to be knocking on the door of the Super Bowl three times," Mack said. "You learn how to live with it, and move on."

Mack also commented on player safety in light of the recent suicides of Dave Duerson and Junior Seau.

"It's a violent sport - I'd say it's fairly easy to get a concussion, and many times not realize it," Mack noted. "What the league is doing [now] is they're making sure guys are being on the field and they're safe being out there."

Mack rushed for over 1,100 yards in his first season as a rookie, and never lost a fumble in his NFL career. Listen to the interview:
