Jack the Ripper

May 18, 2012, 5:19 pm

John Morris, the author of the book “Jack the Ripper: Hand of a Woman” joined John Canzano and the Bald Faced Truth today to discuss his book about Jack the Ripper. Morris talks about the fascination that he has always had with Jack the Ripper, ever since he was a little boy.  Morrison recalled starting with the theory that Jack the Ripper was a Man, but later begun to think that this serial killer may have been a woman.

Morrison talks about how his father, a local historian was researching a doctor named John Williams and at the same time another author published a book with the theory that the doctor was the killer and Mary Kelly was his last victim. His father seeing the obvious believed that the person with the motive is the doctor’s wife. After reviewing thousands of documents from the cases, Morrison found no evidence securing that the serial killer was a man.

Canzano asks Morrison about the history of serial killing and if the circumstance was right for a killer to pop up. Canzano also asks about the victims; Morrison explains who each of them were and how they were killed. Canzano and Morrison discussed DNA findings within these cases and how it supports his theory. Morrison tells all in this fascinating and rare interview found on 750 The Game.
