Joey Harrington Dishes on USC

USC has been in the headlines recently and it's not because of their stellar football season. Joey Harrington, former Oregon Ducks quarterback joined The Bald Faced Truth with John Canzano to talk about the upcoming Ducks/Cal game and the ball deflation incident in Southern California.

Joey now working as a football analyst with Fox is very happy to be working in an industry that he is so passionate about.

“I know football and its fun for me to be able to explain things to the viewers who love it”.

John takes the interview to the USC debate about the student manager letting the air out of some of the game balls. Joey didn’t see why it would make much of a difference in the first place. He sees it as pointless unless you are given a brand new ball.

“In college you can use balls that have been broken in to, not like the NFL where you have to use them straight out of the box. I don’t know what this is all about”.

Joey did not like using brand new balls and sees it as one reason his career started to destabilize. He is very proud of the career that he has accomplished. At one point he was 1 of 32 NFL quarterbacks. Joey worked extremely hard to get to where he was and is still working hard to bring the entertainment of football to the fans.

Joey would like to see a match up with Oregon and UCLA. He sees UCLA becoming a power house here in the next couple years and is very excited to see that young team explode.

“If things played out the other way and UCLA ran the table, now you could be looking at a 10-2 UCLA team. A team which is going to be a fantastic football team next year, they are young”.
