Perfection is next to impossible, but if you were a part of the 1972 Miami Dolphins football team than you achieved it. Former Dolphins running back Jim Kiick was a part of that 1972 Miami Dolphins team and he joined the BFT to recall his Super Bowl success.

Jim Kiick and John Canzano discussed the atmosphere in Miami and playing in the south after having grown up in New Jersey.

"I grew up in New Jersey and went to school in Wyoming and all of a sudden I'm playing football in 90 degree weather so it was a reverse culture shock for me. The first year I went back to New Jersey in the off-season and I went through a couple of snow storms and said what am I doing up here? I have been down here (South Florida) ever since."

The Miami Dolphins went through some growing pains before becoming a consistent Super Bowl favorite every year. Kiick talked about those early days with Canzano.

"When we got drafted, myself and Larry the same year in 68' we didn't have very good football teams, I think we won five games in those two years and then they brought in Shula and the first year we got in the playoffs and got beat by the Oakland Raiders and then the next year we went into the Super Bowl and got beat by Dallas. It was a complete turnaround certainly Shula had a lot to do with it and he felt we had talent and it was misused."

Kiick and Canzano also talk about Jim's daughter who is an aspiring tennis player and life after football.
