Elsie Windes: Ready for the Olympics

Elsie Windes joined John Canzano today on The Bald Faced Truth to talk Water Polo and the upcoming Olympics. Canzano and Windes discussed water polo, how she got into the sport and when she realized she could go to college for it.  Windes mentions the proposal her fiancé Ian Wenger sprang upon her and how they plan to marry this September of 2012. Windes gives Canzano exclusive details about September their wedding and how she is preparing.

John asks Windes about competition in the Olympics, where she responds “It’s anybody’s game,” but is sure to keep an eye out for teams like Australia, Hungry, Italy and Russia who she says are "Always good". Canzano mentions her height and wondered how she was able to choose water polo over basketball, but her father and sister participating in water polo were true influences in her decision in eighth grade to stick to water polo. They then discuss the ESPN Body Magazine controversy and what makes the Olympics in London special for her team.
