Barack Obama and Nick Saban/AP

With the election culminating tonight and Alabama and Oregon sitting one and two in the AP and the Coaches polls, there’s a gentile, southern fella down in Mooresville, Alabama that’s been patiently waiting to talk with us.  Of course we’re talking about Karol Kenton Kogslotter –probably best known as SEC Guy.  He joined Chad on Flight 750 Tuesday to talk about the election and to weigh in on the likely match-up between Oregon and Alabama in the National Championship game.

SEC Guy maintains that it may behoove Oregonians to vote for Romney in the election.

“Mick Romney (yes, he said Mick) said if he was elected president he will do everything in his power to make sure that if a Pac-10 – or whatever yall call it now goes undefeated – that he will put them in the National Championship.  So a vote for Romney is a vote for the Ducks.”

SEC Guy also talked about his particular vote for the presidency.  Apparently, the doctor went against the norm and actually did a write-in vote for Nick Saban, the head coach at Bama.

“I already told you Chazz, one wants my wife, one wants my money and one wants to give me a championship every year.  A vote for Nick Saban is a vote for responsible government – and a solid defense too.”

Lastly, we asked the good doctor about his recent trip to Oregon.  Last we heard from him, SEC Guy was getting ready to enjoy a movie he thought was going to be about magic.  Let’s just say, he seemed a little deceived with the title, “Magic Mike”.

“Let me put it this way Chazz…That Magic Mike…Well…Not the magic wand I was expecting.”

Take a listen to the hilarious interview and don’t let the title fool you, “Magic Mike” has little if anything to do with magic.
