Ducks roll the Pac-12's best 82-57

Oregon found their rhythm Thursday night when they halted the Pac-12’s top team in Washington. The Ducks dominated the first half to the tune of 49-26 and never looked back from Matthew Knight Arena on the way to a final of 82-57 in front of a very pleased crowd.
Carlos Emery led the way for Oregon to top all scorers with 16 points on 7 of 8 shooting and grabbing down eight rebounds. Starters E.J. Singler, Garret Sim, and Devoe Joseph all finished with 13 points each as the starting unit almost outscored the Huskies finishing the night with 52 points from the initial five.
The bright spot for Washington was guard, Tony Wroten, who had a complete night scoring 14 points, handing out three assists, and ripping away four steals. Jefferson High School native, Terrance Ross, struggled in the game as he forced his way to eight points and five rebounds on 4 of 13 shooting.
Oregon looked to be a veteran team as they kept the lead above 20 points for the entire second half after building the initial 23 point lead at intermission. Now sitting in 3rd place in the Pac-12, the Ducks move to 17-7 overall (8-4 in the Pac-12). Meanwhile the Huskies drop to second place in the conference at 16-8 overall (9-3 in the Pac-12).
The Ducks next take the court Sat. Feb. 11th against Washington State from Matthew Knight Arena with coverage starting at 3:00 p.m. on your home of the Ducks, 750 AM The Game KXTG Portland.
