College Football Playoffs...Coming Soon

Will college football ever have a playoff system in place to determine a real national champion ?  What will happen if a team is left out of the playoff system ?  How do you determine the rankings ?  There are several key questions that need to be addressed before a college football playoff system is put in place. In the last few weeks, it has been looking more and more likely that a four team playoff will be the decision that the committee will present.  The big part of it is travel.  Will fans be willing to travel over a 10 day period to support their teams ?
