Channing Frye loves to kick it in PDX

Even with such a short tenure in Portland, Channing Frye has solidified himself as a fan favorite for his great hustle on the court and his wacky persona off of it. Former Portland Trail Blazer and current Phoenix Sun Channing Frye joins the Bald Faced Truth with John Canzano to talk about his NBA career. Channing has returned  to Portland to host his third annual "Kick for Kids" kickball tournament which will benefit the Children’s Cancer Association.

John and Channing chat about why it is so important for him to give back to the city of Portland. Channing talks about his shoulder injury and how he has recovered from it. He discusses why former Blazers always return to Portland. He then explains why he prefers to play power forward rather than center. He reveals how Steve Nash makes everyone around him a better player. He comments on Brandon Roy’s comeback and if he’s surprised by it. He also explains why the Phoenix Suns' training staff is so talented.
