Jefferson High School has tapped former Oregon Duck Aaron Gipson to lead the Democrats’ football program. Gipson is taking over for former coach Anthony Stoudamire, who is headed to Benson High School. Aaron Gipson, former Oregon Ducks defensive back, joins the Bald Faced Truth with John Canzano to talk about his new job at Jefferson. Last fall, the Democrats went 5-1 in conference and won the Portland 5A League title. As a rookie football coach, Gipson looks forward to building on the success his predecessor left him.

John and Aaron discuss his new job as the head football coach at Jefferson High School. Aaron talks about what his coaching style will be at Jefferson and whether he will incorporate the spread offense. He reveals if will bring any of his former teammates back to help the Democrats. He talks about what his role at the high school will be. Aaron then explains why he decided to take the job at Jefferson and if he had any doubts taking the position. He also gives his advice to high school graduates.
