David Shaw Keeping Stanford on Top

The Stanford football program saw success when John Harbaugh was their head coach. Many critics thought the program would suffer a setback when Harbaugh left for the NFL. Harbaugh's successor David Shaw has taken the success of Harbaugh and built a consistent winner in the Bay Area.

Carruth Ready for Spokane

The Portland Winterhawks meet Spokane for the third time in four seasons and the 10th time overall in the playoffs beginning tonight at 7 p.m. at the Coliseum. Spokane is on a roll, winning 14 of its last 17 games, while the Winterhawks have struggled recently, going 7-6 in their last 13 games.
