The NBA Draft Lottery is coming up May 20th, now just under a month away.  The Blazers still have no head coach, no general manager, and a lot of questions under answered.  The Blazers own the rights to the New Jersey Nets protected pick (Blazers get the pick if its outside the top 3).

One Year Ago Today: Brandon's Magic

One year ago today, the Portland Trail Blazers were on the verge of being down three games to one in the first round of the NBA Playoffs.  Down by eighteen going into the fourth quarter, it didn’t look good for the home team.  What transpired over the next thirty five minutes will go down in Blazers history and will be a corner stone of the legendary career of Brandon Roy.

Captain Jack on Sporting KC

The Portland Timbers return to Jeld-Wen Field to host Sporting KC tomorrow night.  Timbers Captain, Jack Jewbury, placed for SKC for eight seasons and knows how the team plays.  The Timbers are coming off a heartbreaking loss to the LA Galaxy.  Portland had scored first, but gave up two late goals.

Ducks quack back to ESPN "weed story"

The Oregon Ducks are in the midst of a controversy, one dealing with the alleged drug use with the football program and other student athletes.  ESPN released a story that will run in the next issue of ESPN The Magazine.
