Brent Barry praises the Blazers’ effort


Former Oregon State hoopster and NBA TV analyst Brent Barry joins the Bald Faced Truth with John Canzano to talk about the season opener for the Blazers on Wednesday night. Beginning his basketball career at Oregon State, Barry finished his storied run at Oregon State in 1995. He went on to play for sixteen seasons in the NBA for seven different teams. Barry reached the pinnacle of his career with San Antonio, winning two championships with the Spurs in 2005 and 2007. Today, Barry serves as one of the most astute analysts for NBA TV.

Blazers Locker Room Undergoes Facelift


The Portland Trail Blazers are making over their locker room complex and have cited recruitment and retention, heritage and brand as well as overall experience for all who visit or work with the team as their reasons for the upgrade.

Quick Impressed with Rookies' Debut


The Blazers began their 2012-13 season Wednesday, facing off in a preseason game against the Los Angeles Lakers.  Although it was just a preseason game, the Blazers looked good as they beat the Lakers 93-75.  Jason Quick joined Bernie on Flight 750 Thursday to weigh in on the game and critique the performances of all the new members.

Meyers Leonard: A Lesson in Maturity


With the 11th overall pick in the 2012 NBA Draft, the Blazers selected Meyers Leonard from the University of Illinois.  When the Blazers selected Leonard we all thought they were just picking up a big body with a lot of potential.  But after joining Chad in the afternoon on Tuesday, we learned that he is much more.
